Along with a host of useful features and benefits, including a new rimless toilet pan and improved aesthetics, our latest range of sanitaryware also boasts a brand-new cistern, which has been carefully designed in view of recent industry changes regarding regulation and WRAS approval.
As manufacturers are unable to respond immediately to these events and develop new complaint products overnight, a special dispensation has been awarded by the UK Water Regulations Authority, granting suppliers time to ensure new products conform to the current requirements and eliminate the risk of backflow.
At AKW, we are proud to be one of the first to introduce our new, fully compliant Livenza Plus cistern which adheres to UK water regulations, by providing the following features:
- Overflow pipe is now situated 300mm above the rim of the pan
- No mechanical joints are below the water level
- There is a one piece, visible top-fill water inlet valve, with an all-round air gap
